Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
Mark 16:15
This past June, our mission team had the incredible opportunity to serve in Honduras—coming alongside local leaders, encouraging communities, and building relationships rooted in love and faith.
We spent three meaningful days in the community of Lomas, partnering with Renovation Church. Alongside local contractors, we helped repair the roof of the children’s ministry building, restoring a vital space for outreach and connection. We also visited homes, listened to stories, prayed with families, and shared in heartfelt conversations—reminders of the power of presence and compassion.
A highlight of the week was a special afternoon just for the sponsor children. We shared a message of God’s love, then spent time doing arts and crafts, laughing, and playing together. For some team members, the most unforgettable moment was meeting their sponsor children in person—a joyful and emotional experience.
At School of Hope, we visited local families to assist with water filter maintenance, helping ensure continued access to safe, clean drinking water.
In Tegucigalpa, we spent time with Alvin Anderson, who leads a powerful ministry reaching at-risk youth. He introduced us to a woman who shared her courageous testimony of transformation after leaving gang life—a powerful reminder of the hope and healing found in Christ.
We return home deeply grateful—for the people we met, the stories we heard, and the ways we saw God at work through every moment of the trip. Thank you for your continued support of our International Missions. We hope you enjoy this visual recap of our week in Honduras.
