Our sponsorship program is well underway. In December, our congregation came together to sponsor 50 children. Since the launch of the program in Lomas, the children in this community have received school uniforms and supplies, a tutoring program has been established, and nutrition packages have been provided to their families.

In June, the 2025 mission team spent three impactful days in Lomas. One afternoon was set aside specifically to connect with the Gateway-sponsored children. The kids heard a message about God’s unconditional love and took part in fun activities like bracelet making and playdough. Each child received a special gift, and for some of us, it was an incredible blessing to meet our sponsor children in person. It was a truly meaningful experience to witness firsthand the difference our sponsorship is making in the lives of the children in Lomas.

Through ChildCARE Plus, children receive access to education, nutritious meals, healthcare, and spiritual guidance, ensuring they grow and thrive in a supportive environment. With trusted local partners, including Renovation Church and Pastor Victor Estrada, we aim to empower children with the tools they need to break the cycle of poverty and build a hopeful future. Together, we are making a lasting impact—one child at a time.
WHAT IS ERDO?
ERDO (Emergency Relief and Development Overseas) is the humanitarian agency of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC). Active in over 30 countries, ERDO works to meet both immediate needs and foster long-term community development. Their core programs include child sponsorship, crisis response, food security, and access to clean water. By partnering with local churches and organizations, they serve some of the world’s most vulnerable populations.
WHAT IS ChildCARE Plus?
ChildCARE Plus (CCP) is a child sponsorship program operated by ERDO that serves children in more than 40 countries worldwide. This initiative focuses on meeting essential needs such as education, nutrition, and healthcare, while also fostering emotional and spiritual growth. CCP aims to break cycles of poverty by equipping children with the resources they need to thrive. Many of its graduates have gone on to become leaders in their communities, contributing to meaningful change and lasting impact.
