MORE HIGHLIGHTS FROM LOMAS

Here are just a few of the things we celebrated together:

• The school year began in February, and every sponsored child received a school uniform, new shoes, and all the supplies they need to succeed this year.

• The tutoring program in Lomas continues to grow, with four tutors intentionally working to raise literacy levels among the children.

• The new outdoor kitchen in Lomas is now being used to provide healthy snacks for sponsor children during tutoring sessions.

• We introduced the mission team that will be travelling to Lomas in June — we look forward to sharing more about the team in the coming weeks.

• And exciting news — Gateway raised enough funds to purchase a truck for Lomas! This will be an incredible resource for the ministry and the community.

One of the most meaningful parts of the evening was taking time to write letters to our sponsor children. Hearing from their sponsors means so much to them and is one of the most powerful ways we encourage them.
